Let me guess: your newfound addiction of pickleball has you wanting to play every day and every night. You're not alone—pickleball is one of the most popular sports right now, an absolutely fun and addictive game for folks of all ages. 

Here at gymscompared.com, players are always asking us if a certain gym has a court. And it does make complete sense. Wouldn't it be great if your pickleball matches were at the same location as your daily workout?

Yes, more and more gyms across the country are starting to add pickleball as an amenity—and you're in luck, we've got the full list.

Nope, not a single location from Crunch has pickleball. Sorry!

Yes, we're sure. We checked every one of their 420 different gyms webpages, and none mention pickleball. We also checked with their customer care teams and chatted with their social handles: it's a no-go for pickleball at Crunch Fitness.

Here's our best take on why not:

• There is a general lack of space for pickleball. While their clubs aren't considered small (we rate those locations around 10,000 square feet), Crunch gyms usually aren't  gigantic big boxes (40-50,000 square feet and up). It's only gym chains that size and larger that usually host pickleball.
• No basketball courts. Huh, what? Here's why that matters: Thank you to Leslyn, our wonderful chat agent, who confirmed it as well. "No basketball, too. I'm afraid." No basketball courts means no hardwood... and many gyms usually repurpose their basketball areas for pickleball matches.
• No tennis courts. Same as above, we see gyms repurpose tennis courts for pickleball games, and Crunch has neither basketball nor tennis. 
• Pickleball doesn't fit their Crunch' pricing strategy. With some memberships starting at just $9.99/month, including pickleball (and the maintenance, equipment, setup and more) would push the total membership cost higher. That just doesn't make financial sense for Crunch.

Maybe. We're not betting on it though. There's not really any space across their 420 locations, nor an amenity they would push out for pickleball. Best bet is if they open new locations where they could add pickleball from the beginning.**

**Announced in July of 2023, Crunch Fitness is set to open their largest location ever—a 60,000 square foot gym in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.**  We see a childcare/daycare room, a cycling room, turf area and multiple Olympic lifting platforms....   Still: no pickleball!
