Ready to turn up the heat?  Like others, you've discovered the immense benefits of a sauna. You love the hot hot heat, and the way it draw toxins and impurities from your skin. We are on the same vibe my friend: that fresh out of the sauna' feeling is purely addictive!

Here at gymscompared.com, people are always asking us if a certain gym has a sauna. And we can clearly see why it makes sense: Folks are either warming up muscles before their workouts, or relaxing sore ones once their session is complete. Bottom line: the sauna is a key amenity to help achieve your fitness goals.

More and more gyms across the country have added a sauna (or two!) for their members—and we've done all the research for you.

You're in luck. Fitness 19 does have saunas, but only at a few locations. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see which ones.

As of March 2024, we count only 5 of their locations with a sauna. That's out of a total 79 Fitness 19 gyms we're tracking.

We're not too sure, but some ideas:

• Fitness 19 focused their gym space and resources towards more traditional, more in-demand amenities (such as cardio, strength and functional training).
• No space! We don't consider Fitness 19 to have large gyms (over 40,000 square feet)—meaning amenities like steam, sauna, basketball and more aren't prioritized.
• Pricing: Fitness 19 has a competitive base-entry-level membership price, around $15/month. Adding a sauna requires quite expensive construction, likely driving up that cost. It doesn't make financial sense for this chain.
• The 5 locations that do have a sauna are generally more updated and went through a refresh. We see that the other clubs who don't have a sauna even have slower, older websites.

We're not quite sure on the exact temperature at this gym chain but we're looking into it. Do know that there will be variances between each location as well. In our experience:

• Most traditional saunas we've seen have their temperatures set between 150 and 175 degrees F.
• Infrared saunas usually aren't quite as hot, and hover around 120 and 140 degrees F.

Yep, sure is. Sauna is included in your monthly membership fee.  Even the base package (Basic), we see saunas are included.

Just 5 locations from Fitness 19 have a sauna. You can see the exact list of those clubs below. As a value oriented chain, if one of those gyms is nearby to you, and you're on the hunt for a sauna—Fitness 19 can be an amazing deal!
