Does Edge FItness have pickleball?
I know why you're here. Your newfound addiction of pickleball has you wanting to play every day and every night. Alas, you're not alone—pickleball is one of the most popular sports right now, an absolutely fun and addictive game for folks of all ages.
Here at gymscompared.com, players are always asking us if a certain gym has a court. And it does make complete sense. Wouldn't it be great if your pickleball matches were at the same location as your daily workout?
Yes, more and more gyms across the country are starting to add pickleball as an amenity—and you're in luck, we've got the full list.
So, can we play at Edge Fitness?
Nope, sorry. Not a single location from Edge has pickleball. Of their 42 locations, there is no court.
Seriously? Are you sure?
Yes. We visited every Edge Fitness gym webpage to confirm. Nowhere on their site does it mention or talk about pickleball at all. We also checked in with their live customer care chat, asking for the sport.

Why doesn't Edge Fitness have pickleball?
Few reasons, probably.
- General lack of space. While their clubs aren't considered small (around 10,000 square feet), they also aren't gigantic big boxes (40-50,000 square feet and up). Gym chains with that size usually host pickleball.
- No basketball courts. Thank you to Leslyn, our wonderful chat agent, who confirmed it as well. "No basketball, too. I'm afraid." No basketball courts means no hardwood—pickleball courts are often played on these courts if there is no dedicated space
- No tennis courts. Same as above, we see gyms repurpose tennis courts for pickleball games, and Edge has neither of them
- Pickleball doesn't fit their pricing strategy. With some memberships at just $9.99/month, including pickleball (and the maintenance, equipment, setup and more) would push the total membership cost higher. That's just not in the cards for Edge.
Got it. Will this change in the future? Will EDGE someday offer pickleball?
Maybe. We're not betting on it, though. There's not really any space, nor an amenity they would push out for pickleball. Best bet is if they open new locations where they could add pickleball from the beginning. We'll see.
