So, what about YouFit Gyms? Are they open 24-hours-a-day?
Sorry, nope. Not a single YouFit location has all night long hours. Of their 64 locations, none are open 24-hours-a-day.
Why isn't YouFit Gyms open 24 hours a day?
This gym chain is popular for their affordable prices, often with monthly memberships as low as $10/month. They also bring a unique amenity package: all the standard gym equipment plus Olympic lifting platforms and pickleball—clearly showing their priorities and selling points. Things like pools, steam rooms, saunas and basketball also aren't available with YouFit.
What does all this mean? It comes to show us that adding all night-hours isn't really a priority for them. With their focus on lower prices and specific amenities, 24/7 hours may not have a place in their offerings.
There are also multiple things that YouFit must consider before opening a gym all night:
- Are there specific permits, rules or regulations they need to obide by? These determine if a gym—or any business—can remain open all night.
- Is there no demand. Yep, generally it's not a huge number of folks who workout in the middle of the night. This may be the case with YouFit, figuring that there just isn't enough traffic to warrant the hours.
- What are the necessary safety measures to ensure the gym's smooth operation in any scenario? Some equipment (such as plate-loaded Olympic lifting platforms) may require a gym staffed at all night.
Will YouFit Gyms get all night hours?
Good question, but we're not sure unfortunately. Especially with larger gym chains, we may have insider info to go off of. Or there are signs that they're testing new amenities (with 1-2 locations open all night) may signal an upcoming upgrade/change. Not in this case with YouFit, sorry! What time does YouFit open?
The exact opening hours for each location is different, but the most common we've seen:
- Monday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Tuesday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Wednesday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Thursday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekday open time is a good 5:00 AM, but we're not a fan of the late 8:00 AM open doors for the weekends. 6:00 PM closures on Saturday and Sunday are a bit early too.
Final thoughts with YouFit Gyms
No YouFit gyms are open all-night-long. They're a value-oriented gym chain with a limited amenity set—focused on things like Olympic lifting and pickleball. Collectively, all signals point to 24/7 hours not happening.
Members may not even want the feature, with a 5:00 AM weekday opening time at the majority of their locations showing it may be just enough.
