Is EoS Fitness open 24 hours a day?

Alright, so is EoS Fitness open 24-hours-a-day?

Yes, EoS has multiple locations that have open all night hours. In fact, of their 79 total locations, 70 of them give you a chance to workout at any time.

Which EoS locations are open 24/7?

You're definitely in the right place. The entire list is below for you to search, but here are some awesome highlights. Locations where you can find an EoS open all night:

  • 27 gyms in Arizona
  • 12 gyms in California
  • 8 gyms in Florida
  • 14 gyms in Nevada
  • 2 gyms in Texas
  • 7 gyms in Utah

Tell me more about EoS Fitness opening hours. Is it staffed?

EoS clubs are staffed all day (and night). That means the front door is normally unlocked, and it requires you check-in at the front desk as you enter. (This is unlike unstaffed all-night-chains where you 'beep' in with a card/key-fob like a 24/7 hotel).

A staffed late night workout, say 2am, means that there is an employee on hand for emergencies, issues, questions or more. Would the retail area be open for drinks or snacks? That we can't say. But, we do like the fact that another live, real human being is close by in case of whatever.

Security cameras however, are the norm, and track key areas for additional protection.

Why aren't all EoS locations open all night?

We don't have the exact reason why for EoS, and it really depends on a per-location basis. Gyms that are considering all-night-hours have to figure out a few important things:

  • Is there enough demand from the members? Obviously it's key here: gyms need enough members to show up at night for it to be worthwhile.
  • Is the city/county in which the club resides "OK" with the hours? Often times, cities have restrictions on businesses operating hours.
  • What safety requirements are needed to maintain a gym in case something goes wrong?
  • Does EoS have enough staff to support all-night-hours? What about added maintenance work or janitorial services? Those things also play a role.

Will EoS Fitness open up all their clubs to 24/7 hours?

We're not sure, unfortunately. If they wanted to, EoS already has the process and procedures to do so. Those 70 locations with all night hours have already proven how to make it work.

We believe the question should be: "Why would EoS open those remaining locations to 24/7 hours?" We looked at a map to see those 9 gyms that close early. Here's what we found:

  • EoS in Phoenix, Arizona - There are 4 others in the city open all night
  • EoS in Encinitas, California - You can head to the Oceanside location
  • EoS in Houston, Texas - Go into the Downtown or Sugar locations
  • EoS in Kaysville, Utah - Head to the Roy location

The story continues on for the other locations, but you get the picture. EoS has 24/7 gyms strategically placed, and you should be able to head into one late night if needed.

So what time are non-24/7 EoS gyms open?

Hours of operation for these clubs that close are pretty respectable anyway. Their Katy, Texas, location for example:

  • Monday: 4:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 4:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 4:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Thursday: 4:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 4:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

This would cover the majority of folks and their fitness schedules. That 4:00 AM opening time is also the earliest we've seen—several other national chains have this at 5:00AM or later.

Final thoughts on EoS Fitness

Gyms open all night are kind of a rare thing. In fact, only about 1 of 4 chains we track offer it to members. EoS is definitely one of them, with a huge number of locations, too. And even for the 9 that do close their doors? Well, they have outstanding operating hours that'll satisfy most folks.

It really does seem like EoS wanted to lead the competition in this arena, and honestly, we have to agree.
